Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information RefsManager collects and how it is used. This is a starting draft and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before launch.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email and sign-in provider (Google, Apple or email).
• League data: games, assignments, availability, blackout dates and ratings.
• Payout details needed to pay officials by ACH or Venmo.
• Official profile details: phone, home address, date of birth and Social Security number (for tax reporting such as 1099s). These are visible only to the official and their league's admins; full SSN and bank numbers are masked and every full view is logged.
• Documents officials upload, such as signed W-9s and work permits, stored privately for the official and their league's admins.

How we use it

To run scheduling, assigning, notifications, ratings and payouts for your organization. AI suggestions use only your organization's schedule and roster data.

Separation between organizations

Each league or association's data is visible only to its own members.

Children's privacy

RefsManager is designed for adult administrators and officials. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
